At PNWK Mukilteo, children will spend their days learning through meaningful experiences in nature, play, and hands-on exploration. Our research-informed approach blends inquiry-based teaching, social-emotional development, and strong early skills building to nurture curious, confident, and capable learners.
Every day, children build friendships, solve real problems, ask meaningful questions, and develop the independence, resilience, and creativity that lay the foundation for lifelong success. With support from caring teachers, each child is given the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace.
Founded in 2018, PNWK began as a Forest School with a simple mission: to connect children with nature while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We are now building on that vision by combining the benefits of daily outdoor learning with a thoughtfully designed indoor environment on our beautiful wooded campus in Mukilteo, WA. Here, children will enjoy the best of both worlds, a nurturing classroom and a natural landscape that inspires exploration, imagination, and joyful discovery.
